Laura and Roland are a young couple. They are hitch hiking on an empty road. The weather turns suddenly and it starts to rain. Darkness has fallen too. They look for shelter at a house nearby. The owner’s name is Osvald. The man lets them in. His manner is strange, though. He talks as if their arrival had a meaning. Then he makes an offer. He wants to buy Roland’s wife. The couple take it for a joke and play along. Before long they realise the man is serious. The film is a short one, just over an hour. Andrus Vaarik and Piret Kalda appear in the sixty four minute film, an Estonian production Arko Okk finished in 1999.
