The Killing$ of Tony Blair

The documentary takes up Tony Blair. George Galloway produced the film. Galloway is a former British member of parliament. He announced the project in 2013. He raised the money through collective donation. The budget came to a hundred and sixty four thousand pounds. The film proceeds under three main headings. The first is what Blair did to the Labour Party. The second is the invasion of Iraq and the civilians who died there. The third is his business connections after leaving office. Blair stepped down as prime minister in 2007. According to the film he earned large sums in the years that followed. The work has an openly political purpose. Galloway said he hoped the film would take Blair to a war crimes trial. Daniel Turi, Sanne van den Bergh and Greg Ward made the ninety five minute British documentary of 2016.
