The Newburgh Sting

The documentary is about a case from 2009. It happened in Newburgh, a town north of New York. The town is a poor place. Four men were arrested. The charge was planning to bomb two Jewish centres in the Bronx. But there is another side to the affair. The man who put the plan forward was an informant working for the government. He passed himself off as a businessman. He was also the one who brought the group together. Hidden camera footage is used in the documentary. The recordings show how it was moved along. The film argues about what entrapment means. David Heilbroner and Kate Davis directed the eighty seven minute documentary, an American production of 2014.
