What The Owners Is About
Sergio and his family work on an estate in the north of Argentina. When the owners are in the city the main house stands empty. In those days the family move in and copy the life of the owners. For a few days the order of the house is theirs. Then Pia, the owner’s eldest daughter, turns up at the estate without warning. She means to stay a few days until her father’s wedding. So the two sides come face to face inside the same house. The film keeps the difference of class somewhere between comedy and tension. Rosario Bléfari and Germán de Silva appear in the German and Argentine coproduction by Ezequiel Radusky and Agustín Toscano, completed in 2014.
