The Rainbow Jacket

Sam was once a champion jockey. It came out that he had taken bribes. He was banned from racing. He can never ride again. He still hangs about the stables. Georgie is a boy mad about horses. He wants to get into the racing world. Sam takes him under his wing. He teaches the boy to ride. Georgie’s talent shows itself quickly. Sam sees in it a chance to make amends. He wants to carry the boy forward. But his old circle has not let him go. The same offers come again, this time through the boy. Robert Morley and Kay Walsh appear in the ninety nine minute film, a British production Basil Dearden finished in 1954.
