Eric Cardot's 2009 documentary follows the referees through the 2008 European Championship. It is in the dressing room, on their earpieces and in the hotel room after the match, showing what happens once a decision taken in a few seconds on the pitch is over. One of the central figures is the English referee Howard Webb, who drew enormous anger for a penalty given in the final minute of Poland against Austria. Roberto Rosetti, the Italian who refereed the final, is also in it. The documentary neither clears the referee nor convicts him; it looks at the human side of the job, at the threats reaching families, and at how alone they are in the moment of the decision. Michel Platini is among those interviewed.
