Time to Choose

The documentary looks at climate change. It gathers the source of the problem under two headings. One is fossil fuels and the other is industrialised agriculture. The camera travels across five continents. In Appalachia people whose water is poisoned by coal speak. In China it goes down into the coal pits. In Nigeria it shows nights lit by gas flares. In Indonesia it talks to officials dealing with deforestation. The film does not only count up the problem. It sets out the solar solutions being built in Kenya. American farmers and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs are heard too. Where the argument arrives is this. The solutions are already in our hands. The only thing lacking is time. Oscar Isaac narrates the hundred minute documentary, an American production Charles Ferguson finished in 2015.
