Tom, Dick and Hairy

Three men live in the same tenement building. They are Tom Chan, Dick Ching and Hairy Mo. Hairy is Dick’s older cousin. The building is old and cramped. The three know each other well. What they have in common is talking about love. Each of them stands somewhere different on it. One is in a relationship, one is not. The third does not know what he wants. They keep advising one another. The advice is not much use. The film runs almost as three separate stories. Each of them arrives somewhere by the end. It turns all of this into comedy. Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Tony Leung Ka-fai and Anita Yuen appear in the ninety nine minute film, a Hong Kong production Lee Chi-Ngai and Peter Chan Ho-Sun finished in 1993.
