Tres dies amb la família

Léa lives abroad. News of a death sends her on a journey. Where she goes is Girona. The man who has died is her grandfather on her father’s side. The family gathers for the funeral. Léa has not seen them for a long time. They will be in the same house for three days. Brothers and a sister, with their wives and children. The subjects they have to discuss are shared, but their views are not. That gap quickly becomes a problem of its own. The film stays inside those three days. Mar Coll wrote it with Valentina Viso, and it was her first feature. It won her the Goya for best new director in 2010 and took prizes at the Málaga Film Festival. Nausicaa Bonnín, Eduard Fernández and Francesc Orella appear in the eighty four minute film, a Spanish production Mar Coll finished in 2009.
