Venu runs a small finance company in Thrissur and lives a reasonably comfortable middle class life with his wife and his son, who is still at school. He expects nothing but the best from the boy and does not separate that expectation from love. Then one event knocks his whole life over and leaves him with nowhere to go. What the film follows from there is a man trying to come to terms again with the people around him and with the reckoning he had made for himself; finding a reason to go on is neither quick nor easy here. Mammootty and Asha Sarath appear in Ranjith Sankar’s hundred and forty minute Malayalam film, completed in 2014.
