What Viva Zapatero! Is About
RAIot, the late night show Sabina Guzzanti made for RAI-3, took its name from the broadcaster plus the English word riot, and aimed straight at Silvio Berlusconi. It was pulled after a single episode on the grounds that what it did was not satire but politics. In this documentary Guzzanti tells her side, talks to journalists and lawyers, and shows the same jokes being made without difficulty elsewhere in Europe. She does not pretend to be neutral; the question underneath is how far you are allowed to go in mocking a prime minister.
