White Night

A pawnbroker is found dead in a derelict building in a remote town. Three people come under suspicion, all three have solid alibis, and the investigation stalls. Nearly fifteen years pass. The inspector who ran the case reopens it not long before his retirement. The trail leads to two people who were children at the time of the killing, a girl and a boy. For years the two have lived as though they had never met, and the people around them keep dying. Park Shin-woo directs, adapting Keigo Higashino's novel, with Son Ye-jin as the woman, Han Suk-kyu as the inspector and Go Soo as the man. Two hours and fifteen minutes.
