Wind from Wyoming

Léa is eighteen and her boxer boyfriend Réo walks out on her. She turns to her mother Lizette for comfort. Réo then draws the mother to himself as well. Lizette leaves her husband Marcel and goes off with him. The other daughter, Manon, is devoted to Chester Céline, a writer who comes from Wyoming. She remakes herself completely to win his attention. The writer tries to escape that devotion. While escaping he grows attached to Léa. The two sisters end up facing each other across the same man. Manon withdraws to a convent in her disappointment. Lizette and Réo leave the city. Marcel is left alone in the wreck of his household and takes his own life. Léa sets out for Wyoming with Chester. Forcier tells all of it as black comedy. The painful and the ridiculous share the same scene. François Cluzet and Sarah-Jeanne Salvy appear in the ninety nine minute film, a Canadian and French production André Forcier finished in 1994.
