Four sections and four separate fears. In the first a woman lies at home with a broken leg; she sees no one and messages from her phone. Whoever is on the other side will not say who they are. In the second a group of young people are at a summer camp; one of them is shut out and there is an accident. In the third the body of a princess lies in a temple and a young man looks after it. In the fourth an aircraft; the cabin crew are carrying a coffin and the count of passengers should be one short. Four directors made the four sections; Yongyoot Thongkongtoon and Banjong Pisanthanakun are among them. It is a Thai production. There is no story linking the sections; the only thing they share is loneliness as the source of fear. The first section takes place almost in one room and is built with a single performer. The last is told as though drawn from a real event and was shot inside an aircraft. The narrative uses the known elements of Thai horror; the ghost, long hair and a dark corridor. One section drifts into comedy and the camp story changes the register. The film worked in Thailand and a sequel followed. Its limit is balance; the four are not equally strong and two of them are markedly weak. Who it is for: viewers who like Thai horror and anthology films. Who it is not for: it is uneven, conventional, and some sections do not frighten.
