What Almost Brothers Is About
Two men were friends as children, but the places they came from were entirely different. Miguel becomes a senator; Jorge becomes one of the leading names in the drug trade. In the seventies the two meet in the same prison: Miguel is there for political reasons and Jorge as an ordinary criminal. The film sets the two lives side by side and asks how two people living the same years in the same country could be thrown so far apart.
