Always on My Mind

Chang Yau-Wai reads the news on television. He is married and has children. His daughter is about to be married as well. The house is crowded and life is a rush. The man wants to get ahead at work. A story about a robbery gives him the chance. His name gets known and attention follows. Then news about his health arrives. He learns that he has cancer. At first his wife does not believe it. She takes it for publicity. The channel, for its part, turns his condition into material. After that the balance inside the house breaks. The account stands between comedy and drama. Michael Hui and Josephine Siao take the leads, with John Tang also in the cast, in Jacob Cheung’s Hong Kong film of 1993.
