Aleksandr Robak What And Here's What's Happening to Me Is About
The thirty first of December, Moscow. The traffic is at a standstill, everyone is trying to get somewhere and nobody arrives. Almost the entire film is small talk: the things that fill a life and, for that very reason, make it go past too fast. A father with a few weeks left and nothing anyone can do about it. A fifteen year old girl’s plan for her future, whether to become an oncologist or a food designer. In seventy two minutes Victor Shamirov tells no great event; he collects what people forget to say to each other on New Year’s Eve.
