Angels in Fast Motion

Three young people in Aalborg. Maria moves through the drug scene looking for love. Allan has come back from a long voyage and is trying to stay clean and rebuild his life; his past will not let go of him. Steso is educated, sardonic and without hope, trying to hold on to his girlfriend and to drugs at the same time. Ole Christian Madsen's Danish film is adapted from Jakob Ejersbo's novel Nordkraft. The telling neither romanticises addiction nor lectures about it; it simply shows how people keep circling the same spot. The three stories run separately and cross now and then. Thure Lindhardt and Signe Egholm Olsen are in the cast.
