Angst

The film is about a couple coming apart. Robert and Marie have little in common. What holds them together is largely their sexual life. Robert is going through a period of impotence. Because of it the relationship becomes shaky. Then Robert learns that his father has died. He had been estranged from him for a long time. The news shakes him badly. He goes to a sex worker and finds himself able again there. Marie learns about it. The woman, for her part, has news of her own. The film is put together as a drama. André Hennicke and Marie Bäumer take the leads in Oskar Roehler’s German film of 2003.
