Armin

Ibro takes his son Armin from their small town in Bosnia to Zagreb. The reason is an audition: they are looking for a part for the boy in a German film about the war in Bosnia. Their bus breaks down on the way and they are late for it. Ibro talks the director into giving the boy a second chance. Then it turns out Armin is too old for the part anyway. The more the boy loses hope, the harder the father holds on. One more chance comes, but Armin gives way under the pressure and has a seizure. As they are getting ready to go home the film crew makes an unexpected offer, and Ibro turns it down. That is the moment Armin understands how much his father loves him. Ognjen Sviličić’s film of 2007 runs eighty two minutes.
