Asier ETA biok

Aitor and Asier grew up in the Basque Country. The two of them were childhood friends. Years later Asier disappears. Aitor learns afterwards what happened. His friend had joined ETA. Some time later Asier is caught. He then spends eight years in prison. When he comes out Aitor picks up his camera. He wants to understand why his friend took that road. The film moves forward with that question. Aitor puts it to his own family and circle too. The conversations mostly take place in private. The title carries a play on words in Basque. Aitor Merino and Amaia Merino directed the ninety four minute documentary, in which Asier Aranguren speaks as well. The Ecuadorian and Spanish coproduction was finished in 2014.
