What Aura: Koga Maryuin's Last War Is About
Satou Ichirou used to call himself Maryuuin Kouga and behave as though he were the hero of a fantasy world. His classmates beat him for it and he changed schools. At the new one he is trying to be ordinary. Then he meets a girl in a blue cape who introduces herself as a researcher travelling from another world. Ichirou backs away at first, because she reminds him of the past he is ashamed of. Seiji Kishi's film is adapted from a light novel. It is about adolescence, bullying and finding yourself ridiculous, and about how imagining things can be both an escape and a defence. Kana Hanazawa is among the voices.
