What Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel II. Lost Butterfly Is About
Having lost Saber, Shirou is no longer a Master in the Holy Grail War, and refuses to withdraw regardless; the only reason he offers is Sakura. Meanwhile a shadow spreads through the city and begins swallowing Masters and Servants one at a time. The second film darkens the trilogy considerably: the question stops being who wins and becomes what Sakura will do with her own inheritance, and how far Shirou will go to shield her from it. The set pieces get larger while the tone drops, making this a markedly heavier chapter than the first.
