Austria 2 Australia

Andreas and Dominik are two Austrian cyclists. They are not professionals; they are two young men who are keen on riding. They make a plan: to cycle from Austria to Australia. They set out from a small village near Linz. The journey crosses nineteen countries and runs to about eighteen thousand kilometres. They spend some eleven months on the road. Over that time they leave their jobs, their friends and their families behind. For a year an ordinary life is replaced by a nomadic one. The countries they pass through are very different from one another. The bicycle is both their means and the rule of the journey. The two of them directed the documentary together. This eighty eight minute Austrian production was completed in 2020.
