Beautiful

Stephen is quadriplegic from birth, immensely rich, and determined to live as much of his life as he can. A firm friendship forms quickly between him and John, a musician who comes and goes from the house. When Anjali enters their lives that friendship starts to be tested, and the film turns into a story about trust, possessiveness and betrayal. V. K. Prakash directed from a screenplay by Anoop Menon, with Jayasurya as Stephen and Menon himself as John. The film does not use disability as an object of inspiration; it builds Stephen as a character complete with his weaknesses, his whims and his money. Ratheesh Vegha’s songs became the part of it people remember best. It came out in December 2011 and did well at the box office.
