Beaver Trilogy Part IV

The documentary takes up Trent Harris. Harris is a filmmaker. In 1979 he met someone in a car park. The person he met was a young man from Beaver in Utah. The young man was outgoing. He liked doing impressions. That meeting became the start of a film. What Harris shot later came to be called the Beaver Trilogy. The two later parts of the trilogy are fiction. Sean Penn and Crispin Glover acted in those parts. But the film itself is only part of the story. The documentary looks at the line between the pursuit of fame and the exploitation of those who pursue it. Trent Harris and Sean Penn appear in Brad Besser’s American documentary of 2015.
