Beyond Our Ken

A month has passed since Wai Ming broke up with Ken. One day she finds nude pictures of herself on his website. They were put there without her consent. Wai Ming decides to make him answer for it. She does not do it alone: she acts together with Ken’s new girlfriend. The two women make a plan against the same man. The account also looks at the relationship between the two of them, which does not stay simple. The film tells the subject from the women’s side rather than a prurient one. Gillian Chung and Daniel Wu take the leads in Edmond Pang Ho-Cheung’s Hong Kong film of 2004.
