Love Off the Cuff

Cherie and Jimmy have spent years splitting up and getting back together. In this third film they are together. Then two things arrive at once. A childhood friend asks Jimmy to donate sperm. Cherie's father marries a woman far younger than himself and cannot look his daughter in the face. Both of them are watching their own families come apart while weighing how much room to make for each other. The word marriage sits there and neither of them says it. Edmond Pang Ho-cheung directs; a hundred and nineteen minutes, with Miriam Yeung as Cherie and Shawn Yue as Jimmy. The first film started in 2010 with the smoking ban; together the three cover seven years of one couple.
