Love in the Buff

Cherie and Jimmy met on cigarette breaks in Hong Kong, had a relationship, and broke up. Work takes them both to Beijing, where they run into each other. Each of them is now with somebody else, and one of those somebodies is by every measure the more suitable choice, which turns out not to settle anything. The film is about two people caught between being faithful and doing what they want. It follows Pang Ho-cheung's Love in a Puff, folds the culture gap between Hong Kong and the mainland into the jokes, and uses the conventions of romantic comedy while making fun of them at the same time.
