What A Small September Affair Is About
Eylul has everything she wants and a life that runs smoothly. After an accident she wakes to everyone telling her that all is well, but a month is missing from her memory. She goes to the island of Bozcaada to find that month, and there a man she does not recognise calls her by name. The title is a play on words, since Eylul is both the woman's name and the Turkish word for September, the missing month itself. A love story built on amnesia that keeps its question to the end.
