Boys Are Easy

A widowed father wants his three daughters married. They are in no hurry at all. So he invents a story. He tells them he has cancer and has little time left. The daughters set out to grant what they take for his last wish. Each of them produces a suitor. From there the film splits into three stories. In one there is a hard tempered police officer. The man opposite her works as a sex worker. In the second a well meaning social worker picks a man tied to a gang. In the third a naive young woman falls for a doctor. All three run as comedy. Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung, Chingmy Yau, Tony Leung Ka-fai and Jacky Cheung appear in the ninety seven minute film, a Hong Kong production Wong Jing finished in 1993.
