What Broken Blade: Fortress of Lamentation Is About
The story takes place in a kingdom where giant war machines are used. Borcuse orders his army to attack the capital without waiting for the others. The kingdom’s first line of defence is broken and the fighting moves into the streets. Meanwhile Sigyn is trying to build a new weapon out of the parts at hand. Delphine, the machine Rygart pilots, is being repaired. As soon as the repair is done Rygart moves to defend the capital. The film brings the conflict the series has been building to a pitched battle. The work is one link in a series of six parts, adapted from a manga. The fifty minutes are given largely to the battle. The Japanese film by Tetsuro Amino and Nobuyoshi Habara was completed in 2011.
