What Broken Blade: Scars from an Assassin's Blade Is About
Everyone born on the continent of Cruzon can control quartz freely. Technology resting on that power does every kind of work, and the armoured machines called golems are driven the same way. Rygart Arrow is one of the rare people who cannot shift even the smallest crystal. Living on a farm with his brother, he gets a letter from Hodr, an old friend who is now king. Arrow was close to the king and queen at military school. Hodr tells him a war is coming. The real reason is this: a very old golem has been found in a mine shaft and nobody can move it. Queen Sigyn, an engineer, suspects the machine can only be started by someone without the power. The fifty minute film is the third part of the Break Blade series. The Japanese animation by Tetsuro Amino and Nobuyoshi Habara, adapted from a manga, was completed in 2010.
