Carlos

The documentary is about Carlos Santana. He began playing in the street at fourteen. That was where he started earning from music. He became a name known everywhere afterwards. He has taken ten Grammy awards. The film runs in his own words. Santana guides the account himself. Footage that had not been shown before is used. Old bandmates speak as well. Gregg Rolie is one of them. Michael Carabello and José Areas appear too. So do the drummers Mike Shrieve and Cindy Blackman, and the music carries the body of the film. Rudy Valdez directed the eighty seven minute documentary, an American production finished in 2023.
