What Catnapped! Is About

A boy and his little sister are looking for their dog. The dog is called Papadoll. They think the animal has gone missing. Then they learn what really happened. Papadoll was carried off by cats who behave like people. They took him to a country called Banapal Witt. That country is built on top of a giant sleeping cat. The sun there changes animals. Papadoll turns into a giant creature. The princess of the country takes him for her own. Everything the princess touches turns into a balloon. She wants to use Papadoll as her instrument. She takes a giant inflatable mouse along as well. Her aim is to control the sleeping cat and so the country. The two children set out to get their dog back. Takashi Nakamura directed the seventy seven minute Japanese animation of 1998.
