Two elderly sisters live in different cities. Erzsi is in Budapest. Giza is in Munich. Giza uses a wheelchair. The two are in touch every day. Letters and telephone calls follow one another. In their talk it is always the years of their youth. Erzsi is a widow and gives singing lessons. There is also an old tenor in her life. The man has retired and the two of them see each other. Erzsi tells her sister about the affair. Giza does not like it. The two of them squabble but cannot give each other up. The account comes from the novel by Istvan Orkeny.
