What Cinema, Mon Amour Is About
Victor Purice runs a cinema. The hall is called the Dacia Panoramic. The town is Piatra Neamt. It is one of the last cinemas left in Romania. Purice used to be the projectionist. He has loved the cinema all his life. Two employees are with him. They are Cornelia and Lorena. The three of them try to keep the place open. The building is falling apart by degrees. There is no heating. The state owns the hall but no support comes from it, and Purice wants the old days back in conditions that will not allow it. Gheorghe Purice appears in it as well.
