What Cleanin' Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters Is About
The documentary tells from start to finish how Ghostbusters was made in 1984. How the script changed, how the parts were cast, how the ghosts and the giant marshmallow man were built with the means of the day are taken in turn, and a good share of those speaking are crew members appearing on camera for the first time. The project began in 2008 with two siblings, Anthony and Claire Bueno, working with what they had, ran for more than ten years across some fifty interviews, and could only be finished with money raised from supporters. Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson also speak in the hundred and one minute documentary.
