Confessions of an Eco-Terrorist

The documentary is about the group called Sea Shepherd. The group works to protect life in the sea. They go out on the open water in ships. They block the path of whaling vessels. They intervene against seal hunting and against poaching. Peter Jay Brown spent thirty years aboard those ships. He carried a camera the whole time. The documentary was built from his own archive. Much of the footage had not been shown before. Paul Watson is the figure at the front of the group. Daily life aboard enters the film too. Arguments and mistakes are not hidden. The title of the film points at the charge levelled against the group. The account runs through Brown’s own eyes. Paul Watson and Robert Hunter appear in the ninety minute documentary. It is an American production Peter Jay Brown finished in 2011.
