Contest

The film is about an outdoor competition. The entrants go out into wooded country. The contest is one of orienteering. They carry a map and a compass. They have to reach a set of points. The groups set off. The ground is harder than they expected. The weather does not help either. As the race goes on they grow tired. The rules begin to bend. Some of them look for shortcuts. Some leave a companion behind. The contest turns into a test of another kind. Each of them is left alone with his conscience. The film shows this in a quiet register. Gheorghe Dinică and Ştefan Iordache appear in the ninety five minute film, a Romanian production Dan Pița finished in 1982.
