What Crayon Shin-chan: Unkokusai's Ambition Is About
Somebody turns up in front of Shin-chan claiming to have come from the future: a bad lot is trying to change the past. Shin-chan and his family go back in time, to Japan's warring states period. There they come up against a lord named Unkokusai. The aim is to leave history as it ought to be. Mitsuru Hongo's film is the third feature in the long-running Crayon Shin-chan series. The source is Yoshito Usui's manga. The humour rests on the small boy's rudeness, and it draws audiences of every age in Japan.
