What Dahufa Is About
A warrior called Dahufa goes looking for his missing prince and arrives at a very strange village. Everyone there wears the same face, nobody speaks, and the whole place is run by a false god and his guards. To get the prince out, Dahufa has to beat the god and his men and expose how the arrangement was built in the first place. Busifan's Chinese animation is an allegory about censorship and obedience. It is not remotely shy about blood, which surprises anyone arriving expecting a children's cartoon. The design is spare and the story is bluntly political.
