Ne Zha 2

Jiao Zi's 2025 animation follows the two children left without bodies at the end of the first film. Their master tries to build them new ones. The order of the heavens stands against them. The film opens Chinese mythology into a wide battle narrative; the narrative keeps the opposition between the two characters. It performed extraordinarily at the Chinese box office and became one of the most watched animated films worldwide. Production ran more than five years. Who it's for: those who like large-scale fantasy animation. Who it's not for: anyone who has not seen the first film; the story continues directly from it.
