Darling

Eva is beautiful, irresponsible, self absorbed and emotionally disconnected. Her life consists of the right clothes, the right people and the right places. When she loses her job and it comes out that she has cheated on her boyfriend, she is cut off from her circle too and everything turns over at once. She finds herself among ordinary people, and there she makes an acquaintance she never expected. Johan Kling's film describes a particular layer of Stockholm from inside and neither defends nor punishes its protagonist. It shows the difference in class not through speeches but through how differently two people stand in the same room.
