What Doraemon: Nobita and the Haunts of Evil Is About
Nobita finds a stray dog in the street and takes him home. The dog is not an ordinary dog; he talks, and says he comes from a lost kingdom. Using Doraemon's gadgets they travel to Africa, into a forest nobody has entered. There they find a giant statue and a kingdom built by dogs. But they are wanted for having entered the kingdom without permission, and Nobita and the others have to prove what they are worth. Hideo Nishimaki directs; it is the third feature in the Doraemon series, adapted from Fujiko F. Fujio's manga. It is a children's film with a coup, an exile and a fight over a throne in it, and it counts as one of the best-loved entries in the series.
