What Doraemon: Nobita's Chronicle of the Moon Exploration Is About
Mocked at school for insisting that rabbits live on the Moon, Nobita uses one of Doraemon's gadgets to build himself a hidden rabbit kingdom on its far side. A quiet new classmate named Luca comes along when they go to visit it, and the private invention turns out to be inhabited by children with strange abilities, and watched by something a good deal less friendly. This is the thirty ninth film in the series, and it stands slightly apart because the screenplay was written by the novelist Mizuki Tsujimura. It was also the last Doraemon film released in the Heisei era.
