Drohkaal

At the centre of the account are two police officers. Both work in a unit against terrorism. The organisation facing them is hard and well organised. The officers run an operation from the inside. They are trying to get information out of it. As the work goes on the lines blur. Who is working for whom becomes unclear. There is a leak inside the unit as well. The sense of trust falls away. The pressure reaches the families of the two men. The account shows that wearing down. The film runs as thriller and drama. Ashish Vidhyarthi and Milind Gunaji are in the cast as well. Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah take the leads, with Manoj Bajpayee and Mita Vashisht also in the cast, in Govind Nihalani’s Indian film of 1994.
