Everyone Needs Love

Makvala has just finished a sewing school. She takes her diploma and sets out. Where she arrives is a village in the Kakheti region. The woman wants to open a fashion house there. The idea strikes the villagers as odd. But Makvala does not give up. She sets to work with her energy and her good will. She finds a place and tries to get it running. The daily life of the village grows livelier because of it. Some help her and some put obstacles in her way. The women take an interest in the shop. The men look at the business with suspicion. That is where the account finds its humour. Darejan Khachidze and Vakhtang Panchulidze take the leads. Giorgi Shengelaia and Mikheil Chiaureli directed the Soviet production of 1980, shot in Georgia.
