Forget Me Not

One night in London. Will, a musician, is playing in a bar where Eve works. When he gets her away from a drunk customer at closing time, the two stay together and walk through the city until morning. The conversations run long and something comes out of the night. In the morning Eve takes him to see her grandmother, who has Alzheimer's. Lance Roehrig's film is a romantic drama set over one night and made almost entirely of talk. The comparison with Richard Linklater's Before films is unavoidable, and the film does not hide it. Its difference lies in the grandmother section: the scenes beside a person losing her memory take the film somewhere else and break the lightness of the night. Tobias Menzies and Genevieve O'Reilly take the leads, with Gemma Jones as the grandmother.
