What Four Faces West Is About
Ross McEwen rides into town and asks the banker for two thousand dollars. When he is asked about security he shows his six gun, takes the money and signs the IOU “Jefferson Davis”. On his way to the train a rattlesnake bites him, and a nurse, Miss Hollister, treats the wound in the carriage while the posse searches the train and misses him. Alfred E. Green made a western in which not a single shot is fired and not one punch is thrown. The lawman after him is Pat Garrett; Joel McCrea and Frances Dee were married in life as well.
